Nabeel builds businesses. He has extensive experience in business advisory, organization restructuring, enterprise, talent development, and capacity building in the sectors of Agriculture, Energy and Environment, Education, Financial Services, FMCG, Healthcare, ICT, Manufacturing, Non-Profit, Property, Public Sector and Tourism.He has previously advised over 40+ clients whilst working with C-Suite in areas of High Performance Leadership, Team Dynamics, Business Strategy and Personal Effectiveness. Nabeel is also an Executive Advisor to various small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) across Africa, and a business coach with the Mara Foundation, Sinapis, Unreasonable Institute and VC4 Africa. As an active Advisor, he supports the growth of for-profit and non-profit enterprises in Africa. He is the Managing Partner for Genesis Consult Ltd.

Hanif brings thirteen years of Information Technology and Information Systems experience. He has worked in several industries including Banking, IT, Shipping, Logistics and Agriculture. As an IT consultant, Hanif’s core expertise lies in corporate infrastructure setup and management with particular focus on business and IT process integration. Hanif is currently pursuing his Msc. in Information Systems Management from the University of Liverpool. Currently, Hanif is an Advisor with Harvard Business Review Advisory Council whilst being a Senior Partner at the Kenyan office.

Novati holds a Bachelor in Economics with beneficial experience on the Tanzanian market, where he has been deeply involved in the Financial Sector for the last ten years. Going through the Microfinance industry via PRIDE Tanzania, and later to PEARL Microfinance in Uganda, he oversaw the SME Marketing and Product Development Unit at Barclays Bank Tanzania. He pursued a one-year IFC (International Finance Corporation) assignment under the capacity of SME Resident Advisor at Diamond Trust Bank Tanzania, charged with devising a SME proposition at the Bank. In his spare time, Novati conducts Business Coaching for prominent SMEs in the country.

Joan is a management and entrepreneurship consultant with 11 years’ experience serving in middle and senior management positions as Project Manager for international SME support organizations. Her current work entails supporting companies to solve issues, create value, and grow market share and profitability while improving their operations and performance. She consults on business startup, development and growth while offering support to companies in strategy and structure, management and processes that enhance operational efficiency. Through her advisory, Joan provides a platform for consultants and entrepreneurs to exchange best practices while influencing the business landscape in East Africa.

Nicholas is a Talent Management & HR Advisor with extensive experience in Corporate Recruitment with leading Multinationals in sectors of Energy, Oil & Gas,Financial Services,ICT,Healthcare, Manufacturing, Property, Procurement/Logistics, Rail and Aviation. He is also a mentor and business advisor to young entrepreneurs & Change makers under the Ashoka East Africa organization. Nicholas is passionate about building careers, coaching & mentoring, executive search & selection/headhunting, Organizational Development, Business Advisory, Professional/Graduate Program development,Training Content design, Change & Culture Alignment.

Bikundo has over a seven years of leadership development, consultancy experience, advising, training and coaching professionals for such organisations like the Libre Foundation, Toyota East Africa Limited (TEAL), United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), TPO Uganda, Nabuur, Youth Coaching Academy UK and Fahamu Limited among other organisations. He has practical training and coaching experience across a variety of fields, which include, creative writing, dveloping training needs analysis, curriculum development, change management, organizational transformation, strategic thinking, group visioning, life coaching and corporate & training. Bikundo has worked in a variety of locations (including Rwanda, Uganda, South Africa, Morocco, the Netherlands and Mexico).  

Juliet has worked as a counselor with Word of Life International, counseling young people for several years at the Word of Life Camps both in Kabete (Nairobi), and Ukunda (Mombasa).   A trained Public Relations practitioner, she has strong leadership and communication skills.  She worked for New Life Home Trust, a Kenya based charity with affiliate offices in USA and UK as the Communications and Public Relations Officer for several years before joining Discover the World Inc., a USA based charity, as a Consultant Communications and Projects Coordinator. She has been a trainer for Fahamu Limited (Fellowship Program), GROOTS Kenya and Toyota East Africa Limited (TEAL).  Equipped with basic Life Coaching Skills courtesy of Youth Coaching Academy UK, Juliet’s goal is to combine her leadership and communications skills and life coaching training to assist individuals express their passion, discover their God given potential, nurture it and develop to be the best they can be. 

Peter holds a Masters degree in Geography from Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada). He brings with him an extensive working experience in the field of community development. He has worked with several organisations and helped many to grow. With his passion for international development, Peter strives to monitor and measure impact of various programs and projects. 

Kate is a Human Resources Management Practitioner with 6 years of experience in Human Capital Management in the Manufacturing Sector as a Generalist in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. Catherine’s experience spreads across FMCG, High Value Consumer goods and Service Industries. She has significant expertise in Human Resources Policies review and development in compliance with labor laws and best practices, Organizational Design & Optimal Staffing, Rewards & Benefits and Learning and Development. She Holds a diploma and a higher diploma in Human Resources Management and is pursuing a B.Sc. in International Business with the University of London via distance learning.

Parag is a highly skilled international recruiter with over 12 years of recruitment and headhunting acumen specialized in Public Sector in the UK and mid to senior level roles in East Africa. He has worked on large scale programs both locally and abroad and is currently working on specialized talent acquisition programs for some well-known private companies in the EA region. At present, he supports Genesis Consult for their talent search & deployment efforts across Africa and supporting their HR Outsourcing function.
